Girls Tri Too - Maumee Bay Sunday, June 17, 2012 - 07:30am Maumee Bay State Park; Oregon, OH SWIM 250 yards - BIKE 7 miles - RUN 2 miles The Girls Tri Too at Maumee Bay features a 250 yard swim, followed by a 7 mile bike and finishing with a 2 mile run. This race is the perfect first timer event for those wanting to get their feet wet in the sport of triathlon in a very non-competitive environment.
The Girls Tri Too Series features: ~ Safe non-congested dual time trial starts for the swim ~ Point-to-point swim courses along the beach (in waist deep water too) ~ Beginner friendly and well thought out bike & run courses ~ Great easy to get to venues ~ A women designed and fitted race t-shirt ~ Support from women specific sponsors ~ Events Support local charities Women Only Course Preview Saturday, June 16 from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at the park. This will be a walk through of the swim, bike and run courses and transition area. No workout equipment is needed.
Start Times The start is a dual time trial start every 3-5 seconds based on your estimated 250 yard swim time. Race starts at 7:30am

Registration & Packet Pick-up Saturday from Noon - 5:00pm at the park beach area. Sunday from 6:00am - 7:15am at the park beach area. Race starts at 7:30am
Timing Chip Pick-Up Sunday from 6:00am - 7:15am at the park beach area.
Awards The top three in all age groups (14 & under, 15-19, 20-24...75+), Athena, Mountain Bike, AquaBike (Swim & Bike only) and all relay teams divisions will receive awards.
